I started teaching at Lower Dauphin High School in 2002. Prior to that time, I taught Family and Consumer Science classes along with English, Journalism, History, and Study Skills at Camp Hill High School starting in 1986 until I came to Lower Dauphin. I have taught Personal Development, Foods I, and Foods II here at LD. Currently, I am teaching all of the Foods II classes.
I completed my B.S. Degree in Home Economics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I hold a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University. I also hold an Elementary Education Certification from Millersville University.
I am married with four children. Three of my children currently attend the Lower Dauphin School District. I have a preschooler who will start school in the fall. My favorite things to do are baking, sewing, traveling, taking pictures, and spending time with my family.
