Course Title: Modern World History Subject: Social Studies Grade Level(s): 12 Synopsis of Curriculum
The Modern World History course is designed to encourage discussion about how our world has been shaped socially, politically, religiously, and culturally. The course covers from 1914 to the present, highlighting major events and people who have caused significant change around the world. During the semester, students will be expected to take class notes, to participate in discussions by contributing or asking questions, and to write independently on related prompts.
