South Hanover Township is located in the middle of the Lower Dauphin School District, bordering the Swatara Creek to the south and Beaver Creek to the north. As one of our more rural townships, the South Hanover Elementary School serves as a focal point for many community activities.

School hours are from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Office hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
We offer morning kindergarten from 9-11:45 am and afternoon kindergarten from 12:45-3:30 pm.
