Lower Dauphin

School District

The Lower Dauphin Area Regional Planning Group is a cooperative venture between the townships of East Hanover, Londonderry, the Borough of Hummelstown, and the Lower Dauphin School District.
Recognizing the importance of cooperation being more successful and beneficial to the residents and landowners than individual efforts, it shall be the purpose of the LDARPG to recognize and assist by making recommendations regarding decisions, policies, concepts, and programs relating to planning and growth within the geographical boundaries of the LDARPG.
Our goal is to make the Lower Dauphin area an even greater place to live, work, learn, visit, shop and play, with a strong sense of community, scenic preserved open space, an attractive historic character, a vibrant economy and a high quality of life.
The plan was adopted by all municipalities (East Hanover Township, Hummelstown Borough and Londonderry Township) on October 3, 2005. Details about the plan can soon be found on this Web space.
The Group meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Hummelstown Borough Offices, 136 S. Hanover Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
If you would like to contact us, please do so by writing in care of the Lower Dauphin School District, 291 E. Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
