Synopsis of Curriculum
The sixth grade art program runs for one grading quarter. Students are empowered to think independently and make personally meaningful artwork through idea development, creating, presenting, responding and connecting.
- Materials, techniques and tools are demonstrated, practiced and documented by creating a series of artworks.
- Additional materials, techniques and skills are developed through creation of original artworks, as well as research and teacher instruction.
