    Synopsis of Curriculum

    The curriculum adjustments to the Math 6 course were modified to include additional vocabulary that students have been exposed to through the higher-level application problems in Study Island, as well as new item samplers released on the SAS/PDE portal. While the content itself has not changed, new vocabulary has emerged.

    After reviewing the 7th grade content to create the Math 6 advanced course, adjustments were made to better align the two grade levels so that students are better equipped for 7th grade math.

    Additionally, some topics were rearranged to be addressed earlier in our school year so that they could be used as building blocks for other units of study.
