Course Title: Honors Life Science Subject: Science Grade Level(s): 7 Synopsis of Curriculum
The Honors Life Science course focuses on living things and their interactions with the environment. The topics studied throughout the year include the Scientific Method, Cells, Genetics, Natural Selection, Classification, The Kingdoms of Life and Ecology. As compared to the Life Science course, Honors Life Science is supplemented with enrichment activities and inquiry-based labs. Students are challenged throughout the year to dig deeper and apply the concepts they are learning.
