Synopsis of Curriculum

This reading course is designed to help students improve their basic skills and content area reading.  The emphasis will be on comprehension and reading strategies.  Students will apply learned skills in all aspects of their classes.  Materials relating to content area courses, current events and skill practice will be used as well as a variety of other materials including magazines, articles, short stories, computer programs and novels.
