• Conewago Township is our most rural township in the Lower Dauphin School District and Conewago Elementary School serves as the focal point of the community. The township lies at the southeastern corner of Dauphin County, bordering both Lebanon and Lancaster counties.

    According to the 2020 Census, Conewago Township has a population of nearly 3,000 people and 1,123 households. The median age of the township's residents is 40.3.

    Conewago Township is Lower Dauphin's smallest municipality. Conewago Elementary School is one of the district's smallest schools, with an enrollment of approximately 245 students. The district's average elementary class size is 21 students.

    School hours are from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Office hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
