• Lower Dauphin Middle School must truly be my "home" away from home.  I taught at LDMS from 2003 - 2008 and then took an extended leave to stay home with my young children.  In 2015, I was hired back to teach at LDMS... so I am here to stay!  I am so happy to once again be part of the Lower Dauphin family.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Communications - Public Relations from Susquehanna University in 1997 and a Masters of Arts in Teaching Family and Consumer Sciences Education from Oregon State University in 2001.  My teaching experience began at Waldo Middle School in Salem, Oregon.  After moving back to Pennsylvania, I taught at LDMS from 2003-2008.  More recently, I taught part-time at the Lebanon County Career & Technology Center.

The joys of my life are my two children and husband.  We enjoy family time together going kayaking, biking, and hanging out.  My personal joys include sewing, being creative, and being a supportive soccer/sports and performing arts Mom.

I love teaching Family & Consumer Science skills that apply to my student's everyday lives and their futures.

It is a blessing to have returned "home" to LDMS!
