I am looking forward to starting my 16th year this year at Lower Dauphin Middle School teaching 8th grade physical science. Before coming to Lower Dauphin, I graduated with a degree in biology from Bucknell University. Then I moved back to my hometown of Plymouth Meeting, PA to work in clinical research for a year. After that I moved out to beautiful central PA to get my teaching certificate at Millersville University and I am currently certified in biology and general science. In May of 2009, I graduated from Lebanon Valley College with my master's degree in science education. In May of 2018, I received my STEM endorsement from Lebanon Valley College as well.
I have been married for 16 years now and have an 11 year old son named Evan and 9 year old daughter named Natalie. Evan loves anything having to do with his Xbox, fishing, Boy Scouts, and his tuba and Natalie loves art, watching cooking shows, gymnastics, and is learning to play the saxophone this year. We have loved every minute we've been able to spend with our kids and look forward to watching them continue to grow.
Besides spending time with my family, my other loves are boating, traveling, swimming, walking with my family, skiing, playing handbells and the piano, and reading. I look forward to getting to know all of you this coming year as well!
