Lower Dauphin High School is a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association and the Mid-Penn Conference Athletic League. The Mid-Penn Conference is comprised of 34 member schools and is organized by divisions for competition. Member schools are assigned to divisions based upon the PIAA enrollment classification. Thirteen of our 19 varsity sports also offer junior varsity level programs.Parental support is an important component of our athletic program at Lower Dauphin.The district's athletic director is Kaylor Kulina. He can be reached via e-mail at krkulina@ldsd.org or by phone at 717-566-5398.Baseball - The district offers a boys' baseball program at the varsity and junior varsity level in the spring. Baseball home games are played at Nye Elementary School.Basketball-The district offers a boys' and girls' basketball program at the varsity, junior varsity, and middle school (grades 7-8) levels in the winter. Varsity and junior varsity home games are played at the high school, and middle school home games are played at the middle school.Cheerleading - The district offers a cheerleading program at the varsity level.Cross Country - The district offers a boys' and girls' cross country program at the varsity and junior high levels in the fall. The home cross country course for varsity is located at Conewago Elementary School. Junior high cross country is at Lower Dauphin Middle School.Field Hockey-The district offers a field hockey program at the varsity, junior varsity and junior high (grades 7-8) level in the fall. Home games are played at the turf field located on the middle school campus.Football - The district offers a football program at the varsity, junior varsity, junior high (grade 8-9) levels in the fall. Varsity home football games are played at Hersheypark Stadium and all other levels play at the turf field on the middle school campus.Golf - The district offers a boys' and girls' varsity golf program in the fall. Home matches are played at Manada Golf Course, Grantville.Soccer - The district offers a boys' and girls' soccer program at the varsity and junior varsity level in the fall. The junior high level plays in the spring. Home games are played at the middle school.Softball - The district offers a softball program at the varsity and junior varsity level in the spring. Home games are played at Lower Dauphin High School.Boys' Tennis - The district offers a varsity and junior varsity program in the spring. Home matches are played at Lower Dauphin High School.Girls' Tennis - The district offers a varsity and junior varsity program in the fall. Home matches are played at Lower Dauphin High School.Track & Field - The district offers a varsity and middle school (grades 7-8) program in the spring. Home meets are held at Lower Dauphin High School.Boys' Volleyball - The district offers a varsity and junior varsity program in the spring. Home games are held at Lower Dauphin High School.Girls' Volleyball - The district offers a varsity and junior varsity program in the fall. Home games are held at Lower Dauphin High School.Wrestling - The district offers a varsity and junior high program in the winter. Home matches are held at Lower Dauphin High School.
