Hello! My name is Karen Stover. This school year marks my seventh year at Lower Dauphin in 6th grade learning support. I am so excited to be returning to my classroom for the 2024-25 school year! I am married to Jeff and we live here in the district with our two children who are in 8th and 5th grade.
I graduated from Millersville University and am certified in elementary education, special education, and secondary English. I enjoy middle schoolers and their perspective on life - they keep me young and open-minded!
I love music! I play the piano, sing, and attempt to play songs on my ukelele! I also love gardening and traveling with my family as much as possible. This past year we ventured to Europe - it was beautiful and delicious! Of course, reading is one of my favorite pastimes as well! This summer I read The Anxious Generation, Remarkably Bright Creatures, All My Knotted Up Life, Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, and Birding to Change the World. Memoirs are my favorite genre!
