• Lower Dauphin has contracted with RLPS Architects of Lancaster to conduct a district-wide facility assessment.

The RLPS team has been meeting with administrators and school board members monthly since February. In addition, they toured the district's eight academic buildings and 12 district buildings/support facilities to evaluate the condition of the properties, their existing use and traffic flow. They also examined the district's enrollment, growth, and building capacities.

The next step in the process is obtaining information from district stakeholders - students, parents, school staff and community members. To do this, they have developed a short survey - Lower Dauphin Facility Assessment - Community Survey Link.

The purpose of this survey is to provide all community members with an opportunity to engage with and provide input for the facilities' assessment early in the process. The community will continue to be engaged in various ways as this district-wide facility assessment is developed.

The survey will close on Friday, June 21.
