Hello! My name is Jenna Wise. This is my seventh year teaching Full Day Kindergarten at South Hanover. Prior to that, I taught second grade for around seven years. I am so lucky to be surrounded by such a wonderful staff and community! Let me begin by telling you a little bit about myself.
I graduated from Lower Dauphin High School in 2003. I then went to Penn State University and graduated in 2009. I finished my Master’s Program at the University of Scranton. My degree is in Curriculum and Instruction. It is very exciting to be back as a teacher in my home district!
In my spare time I enjoy reading, photography, going to our cabin in northern PA, and spending time with family and friends. I was married in 2012 to another LD alumni, Ron. We spend most of our summers at our cabin, which we are slowly renovating. While there, we go hiking, exploring, and my husband goes fishing.
I also love spending time with my beautiful nieces, Allexis, Merida, and Flora, and my handsome nephew, Jackson! They are so much fun, and growing up so fast! I am so proud of them!!
If you are a student in my room, or have a student in my room, you will be sure to hear about my adorable orange kittens, Fergus and Freya. We adopted them in 2019. They are a hoot and bring so much joy to our home! I often share their antics during the day!
Here is a photo of Fergus and Freya, our furry family members!
