I always like to share with others and my students about where I come from and my hobbies and interests.

 

This will be my 3rd year as a Speech Therapist at Londonderry Elementary. This year, I am also helping to support my fellow speech therapist for 2 half days (Days 4 & 6 in the afternoon) at South Hanover Elementary School. I grew up in Hershey and graduated from Hershey High School. I received my Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Penn State University in 2008 and went on to get my Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology at the University of the District of Columbia and graduated in 2012.

 

While pursuing my Master's degree, I had to the opportunity to participate in 3 internships in DC Public and charter schools. I also did 2 internships in hospitals. Working with children has always been an interest of mine. 

 

In my spare time, I love to spend time with family and friends, exercise, and travel! I am also a per diem Home Health Speech Therapist and work with adults after school hours and during the summer. In May 2015, my nephew was born and I am really enjoying watching him grow and spending time with him. My husband and I also enjoy spending time with our dog, going camping at Raystown Lake, and taking our annual summer vacation. This summer, we went on a cruise to Bermuda!
