Synopsis of Curriculum
This course is for the art student who is ready to explore advanced techniques in drawing and painting. Art skills at this level are assumed to be well above average, as students will solve complex conceptual problems in all areas of two-dimensional art forms. Works will be completed in various themes while advancing proficiency in the following techniques: portraiture, pastels, printmaking, watercolor, acrylic, oils, mixed media, and non-traditional materials.
