Synopsis of Curriculum

This is a hands-on studio course exploring art across the cultures using the universal themes of art. It incorporates an appreciation for art history as well as an opportunity to learn how similar themes are present in artwork around the globe. Students will explore a variety of basic art media and techniques in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional art forms. This course includes textbook work.
