Synopsis of Curriculum
Understanding and utilizing traditional skills in sculpting, hand building, and wheel-throwing, students will develop an awareness of three-dimensional forms and its expressive potential in the medium of clay. Through demonstrations, group discussion, self–critique, and study of professional work, students will develop aesthetic awareness of this art form.
Students must pay a materials fee for this elective course.
