Synopsis of Curriculum 

Sports and Entertainment Marketing is a multi-billion-dollar industry that has a definite impact on the economy and is rapidly growing.  Whether it’s the family vacation centered on a soccer tournament or the Orange Bowl for a national football championship, large sums of money are spent on sporting events and entertainment related to products and services.  Sports and Entertainment Marketing is in over 100 college and university programs.  The course is interdisciplinary in nature with a focus on the management of venues, sports, musicians, artists, and events.  Students enrolling in this course have the option of receiving three general education credits through Harrisburg University at a cost of $300.
