Synopsis of Curriculum

Students will build on what they learned in French I. The year will starts with a review from French I. Students will be able to talk about where they live and describe their town and their house/apartment. Students will be able to ask for directions and follow those directions to arrive at a place in town.  Students will give directions using the imperative. Students will take about what they like to do on their free time and what they do not like to do. Students will compare leisure time in France to leisure time in the United States. Students will be able to identify clothing that they wear to school, on vacation and to informal/formal parties.  Students will be able to compare teen jobs in France and in the United States. Students will be able to talk about foods/drinks that they like and do not like. They will be able to order at a restaurant and create a healthy menu for their homes. Students will compare and contrast meal times in the United States and France.
