Synopsis of Curriculum
This course is a continuation of level one. In German II, the students build on basic essentials of communication by adding commonly used vocabulary items as well as advancing in grammatical skills. Students cover a variety of topics from everyday life and add complexity in expression with the addition of modal verbs, present perfect tense, and the addition of the dative case. Students further develop the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
