Synopsis of Curriculum
This course is a continuation of level two. In German III, students continue to build on essentials of communication by adding to their vocabulary and knowledge of grammar in thematic units. Students cover a variety of topics from everyday life and add complexity in expression with extensive use of the present perfect tense, dative case verbs, location prepositions, reflexive verbs, indicating preferences and making comparisons, and understanding the use of proper adjective declensions. Students further develop the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
