Synopsis of Curriculum

This course is a continuation of level one.  In Latin II, the students build on basic essentials of Latin by continuing to read in Latin, which further develops their vocabulary, as well as advancing in grammatical skills.  Culturally, students will cover a variety of topics from the everyday lives of Ancient Romans.   There will be complexity in expression with learning the imperfect and perfect tenses, the imperative, declining numbers, and the addition of 3rd declension neuter.  Students will also continue their study of derivatives, historical topics, and myths.
