AP Statistics

Synopsis of Curriculum

This course is similar to a first year college course in statistics, with work with descriptive statistics, inferential statistics and probability theory and distributions.  The course follows the AP curriculum for statistics as well as the AP focus on communication and analysis.

Unit 1- One Variable Data Analysis

Unit 2- Twp Variable Data Analysis

Unit 3- Methods of Collecting Data

Unit 4- Probability Theory and Probability Distributions

Unit 5- Sampling Distributions

Unit 6- Confidence Intervals for Means and Proportions

Unit 7- One Sample Hypothesis Testing

Unit 8- Two Sample Hypothesis Testing and Confidence Intervals

Unit 9- Inference for Two Variables (Chi Square and Linear Regression)
