Synopsis of Curriculum
This high school level calculus course is designed to give the student the skills to use calculus in sciences, social sciences and business applications. It also provides an excellent foundation for further work in calculus. Topics to be studied include: limits and derivatives of functions, definite and indefinite integrals, simple differential equations, and applications of these techniques in solving related rates of change, optimization, volumes of revolution, and exponential growth. Students are required to have a graphing calculator for this course.
