Synopsis of Curriculum
This course includes content from three topics necessary for success in college level math: functions and statistics. The focus will be on increasing skill levels in arithmetic and algebra. The first part of the course will include a review of operations and graphing of functions, as well as applications of these functions. The second part of the course will include statistical topics of one and two variable data analysis. The course concludes with a unit on financial mathematics. Upon completion of this course, students should experience more success on college placement exams in mathematics and perform better in post-secondary math courses.
