Synopsis of Curriculum
This course will address applications of mathematical formulas and algebraic procedures. It will include personal finance topics of credit, taxes, compensation, and consumption. Basic algebra skills of solving and graphing equations will be reviewed. This course is recommended for students who need a third math credit and/or students who want to familiarize themselves with the way math is used in our daily lives beyond the classroom.
