Synopsis of Curriculum
This course is designed for students who have taken the Comprehension I course and wish to further expand their use of active reading strategies as well as develop more vocabulary strategies. Students are expected to read self-selected books throughout the school year. Priority is given to students who are reading below grade level. These courses require teacher recommendation and/or reading specialist approval.
