 Synopsis of Curriculum

This course is designed for students who wish to improve foundational skills in reading.  The course focuses on decoding/word attack and active reading strategies to improve overall comprehension skills and vocabulary development.  Class size is limited.  Priority is given to students who are reading below grade level. Direct, explicit teacher-developed instruction is used.
