We also focus on important human skills, such as web safety, collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking and independence. About Me

Hello! I’m Jakob Gerber, and I’m excited to welcome you to my classroom at Lower Dauphin Middle School. Originally from Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, I developed a passion for technology and graphic design during high school, immersing myself in every technology education course available. My enthusiasm for computer graphics led me to study graphic design for three years at Susquehanna University. However, I soon discovered my true calling was in teaching, and I graduated from Millersville University this spring. I’m thrilled to combine my love for technology and design with the joy of educating students. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my two cats, visiting my cabin, playing lacrosse, and watching movies. I’m also actively involved in the Elizabethtown lacrosse community as a middle school coach and run a small business where I dye and string lacrosse heads. I look forward to an amazing year of learning and creativity with all of you!
