• Welcome to Mrs. Flynn-Lehman's Classroom

Hello! This is my seventh year teaching for the Lower Dauphin School District, and I am very excited to be a part of this wonderful team and community. I graduated from Palmyra Area High School in 2008 and went to Kutztown University to receive my bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education. I graduated from Kutztown in 2012 and then spent a year as a long-term substitute at the Middletown Area School District. During this time I became highly qualified to teach secondary learning support English. I earned my Master's Degree in Education at Penn State Harrisburg in 2016.

I have several philosophies when it comes to teaching. One of my philosophies is to always remember what it feels like to be a student. I believe that doing this helps me build a rapport with my students and helps me support them to the best of my ability. I also believe in starting the school year off in the best way by firmly going over the rules and setting clear expectations for new students.

During my spare time I love to read. Some of my favorite authors are J.K Rowling, Jane Austen, Jay Ashner, the Bronte Sisters, and Mark Zusak. I also enjoy running, hiking, painting, baking, and going through thrift shops and flea markets. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me!
