School counselors design, implement, and maintain a program that focuses on the personal/social, academic, and career development of ALL students in collaboration with parents, school staff, and the Lower Dauphin community.
The Guidance Office at Lower Dauphin Middle School is committed to the academic and personal welfare of the whole student. Each counselor works with a specific grade level and remains with that class of students for all three years of middle school. This system allows us the opportunity to get to know our students well and to observe their academic and personal growth throughout their middle school careers. Counselors are available to assist students with academic and personal issues as well as work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to advocate for each student's best interests and educational success.
