Mr. Dickinson, Lower Dauphin Middle School
Hello and welcome to the most inspirational website you'll ever see!
My background is totally captivating.
I am a 1991 graduate of Shippensburg Area School District.
I am a 1995 graduate of Lebanon Valley College (B.S. Music Education)
I also have a Master's degree in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College.
I currently teach as an adjunct professor for LVC, direct the Hershey Community Chorus, and I am on the music staff at Trinity United Methodist in Hummelstown.
My wife, Angela, is smarter than me and she has more degrees than me.
My daughter Annie is attending Berklee School of Music in Boston.
My daughter Emma is at LDHS.
My son Levi is at East Hanover.
I joined Lower Dauphin Middle School in 1995 and I plan on staying as long as they let me.
This year (2019-2020) I'll be teaching 7th and 8th grade general music, 7th grade computer
safety, 6th grade chorus, 7th grade chorus, and 8th grade chorus.
At LDMS, there are 3 general music courses.
1. 6th grade general music (required) - meets every day for one marking period.
2. Music I (one of four Encore classes available to 7th and 8th graders) - meets daily for one semester.
3. Music II (available for students who took Music I and wish to continue study) - meets daily for one semester.
Of these three courses, I will only be teaching Music I this year.
