Lower Dauphin Middle School offers a foreign language survey program for students in seventh and eighth grade, enabling them to receive an exposure and introduction to each of the languages offered at the school. For students who completed the survey course in seventh grade, they may pursue in-depth study in a language by taking the first year in eighth grade.

For example, a student takes the survey in seventh-grade and then takes Spanish I in eighth-grade.

Our school's foreign language teachers and their languages taught are as follows: Anne Masorti and Leanne Lefever (Spanish) and Geniene Ronald (Latin & German), Alyssa Klein
