Welcome to our Nye Elementary School website!
I am thrilled to be the new principal here at Nye Elementary School now that Mr. MacLeod has moved on to be principal at East Hanover Elementary School. He and I flip-flopped schools, so if I have any questions, he said I'm welcome to call.
Before being the principal at East Hanover, I was a kindergarten teacher at Nye and my children both attended school here. I have also taught third and fifth grade in my 14 years in Lower Dauphin. I earned my bachelor's degree from Robert Morris University and my masters of teaching and curriculum and my principal's certification from Penn State University.
Nye Elementary School has always had a reputation for being a caring, supportive place where our school and community work together to ensure that our students have all their needs met - academically, socially and emotionally. I can't wait to get to know all of our students and families better as we take our educational journey together!
