Welcome to Fourth Grade!
Fourth grade is an adventure and I can't wait for your adventure to begin!
We have a lot of new topics to learn about this year. In math, we learn multiplication and division, fractions and decimals, and more in between! In reading and writing, we practice finding details, writing about what we read, and putting it all together. We also learn a lot in science, such as, energy, environments, and landforms. There will even be some critters involved!
As a fourth grader, you are becoming a leader and role model in our school. Make sure you remember your Nye PRIDE. Persevere and keep going when things get tough. Respect your fellow classmates and be responsible for yourself. Have integrity and always do the right thing. Be disciplined and focus on your job as a student: to learn. Always strive for excellence which means being the best you that you can be!
We will also travel to Harrisburg and Philadelphia, become a living Wax Museum famous person, and earn Falcon Cash for doing the right thing!
Where will your fourth grade adventure take you?
