Welcome to Mrs. Wingerter's page!
I have been at Lower Dauphin for eight years in a Full-Time Emotional Support high school classroom at the Price School. Before coming to Lower Dauphin, I spent 9 years at the Lancaster Lebanon IU13 working in the Community Schools. The Community Schools are Full-Time Emotional Support programs located in several different areas throughout Lancaster and Lebanon. At the Community Schools, I taught middle school and high school aged students. I also spent some time in middle school and high school alternative education classes. I spent one year at Manheim Township School District in a middle school self-contained classroom for emotional support and alternative education students. My husband and I moved to Savannah, Georgia in 2009 where I taught in an at-risk school for high school students. After returning to Pennsylvania, I spent one year at Lebanon School District in a supplemental learning support classroom for middle school students teaching Language Arts and Math.
I have been married to my husband, Peter, for 15 years. I have a 24 year old stepdaughter named Shelby. I also have two dogs, Jack and Baxter. In my free time, I enjoy watching the Steelers, gardening, Reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
My credentials include: Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and Master's of Arts in Special Education. I have Instructional  II certification to teach Elementary Education, Special Education, and Social Studies. I am also highly qualified to teach English, Math, and Science.
