• Hello and Welcome! My name is Jim DeLisio, many students call me Mr. D.   I am very excited for the school year and to meet all of you. I am the new learning support teacher at East Hanover Elementary. My classroom is in room 306. I may be new to Lower Dauphin School District, but I am not new to teaching.

This will be my 26th year in education. The majority of those years have been working with elementary aged students. I have worked in a few different school districts. I was at my last school for 15 years, working with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.

A little about myself.  I earned my Bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University and my Master's degree from Penn State.  I live about 5 minutes from the school with my wife, 2 college-aged daughters (when they are at home), and our two dogs (Maisy and Crosby). I love spending time with my family, watching my daughters play tennis and watching my three favorite teams:  Penn State, Steelers and Penguins. I am a huge fan of hockey at any level. I. I love to be out outdoors when the weather is beautiful and I enjoy both fishing and hunting as well.

I hope we have a great school year!
