Welcome, Everyone!
Here at LDMS, I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade general music class! I also direct the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choir ensembles. My goal in general music class is to teach students how to understand different music concepts and learn how to use those for wellness. Music is a valuable tool that people can use every day, especially for adolescents. Through our classroom experiences with live and digital instruments, students gain academic skills and confidence. I use my experience as a board certified music therapist and educator to create a safe environment for students to try new things and be their best selves.
