Mr. Todd Neuhard, Lower Dauphin's assistant to the superintendent - secondary education, will be serving as acting principal at the middle school until Monday, September 25.
Mr. Neuhard has served as assistant to the superintendent for eight years and prior to that he was the high school principal for another eight years.
The board-appointed principal, Mrs. Angela Love, is being held by her previous employer, Annville-Cleona School District, until September 25. In that district, she serves as the principal of Cleona Elementary School.
Mr. Neuhard says his goal is to provide a smooth start to the 2023-24 school year and then transition to Mrs. Love when she arrives at Lower Dauphin.
