Employee Clearances & Trainings (Staff)
Dear Employee,
As of 2015, Pennsylvania State law requires all employees to have and maintain the following clearances for employment:
- State Police Criminal History Record – Act 34 (Dated within the last 5 years)
- Federal Criminal History Background Check – Act 114 (Dated within the last 5 years)
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance – Act 151 (Dated within the last 5 years)
- Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse 3 Hour Training - Act 126 (Dated within the last 5 years)
We can accept clearances that were obtained for previous employment as long as they are dated within the last five years. We recognize that this can be a confusing process; so, we have put together the pages in this section to help make things a little easier to understand.
