Dr Robert J Gildea, Superintendent of Schools

 

In October 2023, Dr. Robert Gildea assumed the role of superintendent of the Lower Dauphin School District.  He previously served as the superintendent of Hollidaysburg Area School District for ten years.  In addition, Dr. Gildea has had previous experience as an elementary teacher, principal and athletic director.  Dr. Gildea has also served on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Principals Association as well as the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators.

Dr. Gildea and his wife, Jill are proud parents of four children, Dillon, Quincy, Maura and Shane.
