Performance Goals 2024-25
The Board of School Directors is required to post the mutually agreed to objective performance standards contained in the superintendent's contract on the school district's publicly accessible internet website.
Upon completion of the annual performance assessment, the board of school directors is required to post the date of the assessment and whether the district superintendent has met the agreed to objective performance standards on the school district's publicly accessible internet website.
Posted below are Dr. Gildea's performance standards for the 2024-25 school year:
- The Superintendent will work with the board and administrative team to develop a facilities plan to address both short-term and long-term facility needs that will ensure the instructional needs of our students and staff are met in a safe and secure environment.
- The Superintendent will lead the administrative team through an analysis of current instructional practices with the goal of developing a student-centered, equity-focused and future-driven curriculum and instructional platform that align with the school district mission of maximizing the potential of each individual.
- The Superintendent will develop an administrative organizational long range plan that will identify and provide professional development for current and future district leaders thus ensuring effective and knowledgeable leadership in all areas of school district operation
- The Superintendent will ensure the efforts made to address the equity issue based on recommendations from external evaluators are sustained through the 2024-2025 school year (ex. SEL curriculum, consistent enforcement of the code of conduct…)
- The Superintendent will work closely with the District Business Manager and administrative team to monitor the distribution of resources through the 2024-2025 school year to ensure responsible spending and budgetary efficiency including the exploration of consortium participation and other cost saving measures.
