Meet the SRO

Officer Josh Martin has been employed with the Hummelstown Borough Police Department since June of 2015. He graduated from YTI Technical Institute in 2010 with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice & First Response. Officer Martin finished with a GPA of 3.97. He graduated from the police academy located at the Harrisburg Area Community College Public Safety Center in 2013.

He was hired as a full-time Police Officer in 2016.

In 2021 he was assigned as the SRO for the Lower Dauphin School District.

Officer Martin is currently the Police Department's Firearms Instructor.
