The middle years of a child's education are critical. This is the time when students begin to discover who they will be later in life. This is an exciting time, and we are privileged to help guide our students on their journey through Lower Dauphin Middle School. We have roughly 900 students in grades 6-8 and our program is designed to allow each student to explore the arts, athletics, clubs and music. In addition to this, we provide a rigorous academic program which allows students to discover foreign languages, family and consumer sciences, and experiences with technology. Our middle school is dedicated to educating the 'whole' student with the goal of allowing students to develop knowledge, skills, and experiences to allow them to succeed at whatever they choose to do in life. This website provides you a wealth of information about our school. The school PTO has a section of the site with opportunities for you to stay involved in your child's schooling. Our team pages will allow parents and students to keep track of homework assignments. All of this information is here to help make connections between the school and home. We believe that working together, parents and school can help each child reach his or her full potential.Lower Dauphin Middle School251 Quarry RoadHummelstown, PA 17036Phone 717-566-5310Fax 717-566-5383Attendance 717-566-5345 or APheasant@ldsd.orgMrs. Angela Love, PrincipalMrs. Lauren Doyle, Assistant PrincipalDean of StudentsMrs. Alicia Devitz, Principal's SecretaryMs. Lillian Brown, Assistant Principal's SecretaryMrs. Ashley Pheasant, Guidance SecretaryMrs. Kristen Elliott, Attendance SecretaryMrs. Teresa Buser, ReceptionistOffice Hours: 7 am to 3:30 pm
