Statement from School Board & Superintendent

The recent protests after the tragic death of George Floyd have shone a bright light on the endemic issue of race relations in our country.

Lower Dauphin is not alone in taking this historic moment to pause and re-examine our own policies and procedures as they relate to discrimination.

As a Board and administration, we are further committed to providing a safe and supportive school environment for all students, families and staff.

We recognize that more needs to be done. We pledge to listen, to learn and to grow during this time. We are committed to ensuring that discrimination has no place in our schools.
