East Hanover - End of Year Information

Hello East Hanover Families,

We have reached the last week of the school year.  I hope you enjoy the Career Week and Virtual Field Day Celebrations that are happening all week long.

Next week, we will begin the process of collecting any school materials you may have at home (school laptops/power cords, library books, reading center books, etc.) and also handing back any items we have that belong to you (report cards, yearbooks, personal belongings).

To help with this process, we have created a schedule to follow as you come pick up/hand in any items.  It is organized by the first letter of the student’s last name.

  • If you have any of the following items, as well as anything else that belongs to the school, please bring it with you.  To help ensure things get returned to the correct place, please place all items in a bag labeled with your student’s name and homeroom teacher.
    • Laptops and Power Cords
    • Library Books
      • If you have any questions concerning library books that are currently checked out, please email Mrs. Conley (
    • Classroom Books
    • Reading Center Books
    • Instruments
  • Please bring your ID with you.  If someone other than an immediate family member is coming for student collection and/or drop off, please call the school or reply to this email letting us know who to expect. Please make sure that the individual brings a form of identification with them to the school.
  • We will be following social distancing guidelines throughout this process. Masks should be worn by all parties.  Families will stay in the car for the entirety of the collection and drop off. There will be no congregating on campus.
  • When you arrive, please turn in the north entrance and continue until you reach the front doors of the school (similar to the bus procedures for drop off/pick up).

We have created this plan while keeping in mind Governor Wolf’s recommendations for social distancing.  Please take note of the specific date and time that has been assigned to your family. It is very important for all of us to do our part to stay safe and follow the guidance of our state health officials.

If you have any questions about the distribution and collection of student materials and belongings, please reach out to me with any questions.

Thank you for your support and cooperation during this time.  We appreciate all that you do!
