Daily Announcements

Students taking the ACT on Saturday (4/17) should report to school by 7:30 AM. You must enter through door #18, by the gazebo. Face coverings are required and all students will complete a verbal safety screening. Bring a photo ID, admissions ticket, #2 pencils, an approved calculator and snacks. Testing should end between 12:45 and 1:30.

Student tickets for the play, Clue: On Stage, will be sold after school outside the auditorium or room 203. Student tickets are $5 each and COVID precautions will be in place.  The play will be performed April 22, 23, 24. Show times will be 7:00 PM.

Attention Students who Drive to School:  if you do not have a parking tag and proper paperwork on file, you cannot park anywhere on the school campus.  Students who continue to park on the school campus without a proper tag, will be subject to a parking fine. Applications for parking tags are available in the main office.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors interested in history: There will be a History Honors Society meeting on Wednesday (4/21) at 7:10 AM in room 802.  This meeting is for students who are not currently members and are interested in joining.

Mini-THON is having a fundraiser at Freshido in Hershey on Sunday, April 18th from 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. You must show the electronic flyer that is posted on the social media accounts at checkout for proceeds to go to LDHS Mini-THON. Come out and show your support for the kids! 

Mini-THON would like to give a huge shout-out to Paige Berzinski for winning the 2021 T-Shirt Design Contest! Paige’s design will be on the Mini-THON t-shirt for this year.  Make sure you register on donor drive for Mini-THON, ASAP, in order to secure your shirt.  Congratulations Paige!

Next Thursday (4/22) is April’s Mini-THON Thursday and the theme will be College T-Shirt Day! Wear gear from the college you’re attending or represent your favorite college, all while supporting the kids!
