Falcon Packs Food Program 2021-2022 Enrollment

Falcon Packs Food Program 2021-2022 Enrollment

Lower Dauphin School District is excited to offer the Falcon Pack program for students who attend the high school. This will be the fourth year the program has been offered following the programs initial start at the elementary level. As part of the Falcon Pack program, we fill bags of nutritious food each week for each student who enroll in the program. The content of the bags will vary each week and may include items such as pasta, crackers, granola bars, tuna and soup. The food is student friendly, nutritious, non-perishable, and easy-to prepare.

The program is simple and free! Just register for the program and food will be provided in school for students to pick up and bring home each week. This is an optional program and is offered to families that find themselves in extra need of supplemental food. This program may not be for all and we ask that if you choose to sign your child up, that your child’s food pack is picked up each week. High school students may pick their bag up at any time throughout the week. Questions about pick-up can be directed to the main office.

In order to enroll your student(s) in the program, please fill out the online form at the following link: You may also be receiving a letter in the mail with this same information. Packs will be ready for pick up starting the week of October 5th. There will not be any assigned bag numbers this year and packs can be picked up any day during the week.

*NEW TO THIS YEAR*: This year, we will be offering two pick-up options for the food packs. A parent or guardian now has the option to come and pick up the food pack for their children. You can come any day during normal school operational hours. You may still have your child pick up the packs and bring them home each week. If a student is picking up the packs, please make sure they are comfortable carrying the packs home and remind them on a weekly basis to pick up a food pack to bring home.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve your family. If you have any questions regarding this program, please email Stephanie Maurer at, or call (717)566-5300.
